Desde su establecimiento en 1900, el comercio al por mayor con tuberías y accesorios se desarrolló como una organización de servicios de procura que actúa a nivel mundial. THEODOR NIENTIMP
(1873-1939)
Theodor Ignatius Franziskus Nientimp (1873-1939) fundó la compañía «Theodor Nientimp» en 1900. Era un maestro herrero y cerrajero y fabricaba principalmente motores de vapor y sistemas de transmisión para la industria textil local. Una vez que se estableció su compañía, se hizo cargo de los concesionarios y comenzó un negocio mayorista de piezas industriales.
HEINZ NIENTIMP
(1912-1959)
Heinz Nientimp (1912-1959), el hijo del fundador, reconstruyó después del final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial la compañía que fue completamente destruida. Agregó instalación de un edificio, calefacción y productos sanitarios a la gama existente. En ese momento había una gran demanda de construcción de nuevas viviendas en la ciudad que habían sido devastadas por la guerra.
ELISABETH NIENTIMP
(1915-2010)
1915-2010), se hizo cargo de la gestión del negocio después de la muerte de su esposo en 1959. Hasta 1989, fue directora de la compañía «Theodor Nientimp» y fue responsable del considerable crecimiento del negocio. Esta compañía fue cerrada en 1990.
THEO-HEINZ NIENTIMP
(1954)
Theo-Heinz Nientimp, nacido en 1954, fundó en 1981 «thenex Import-Export GmbH» (Theodor Nientimp Export) como una compañía subsidiaria al 100% de «Theodor Nientimp». En mayo de 1984 se hizo cargo de más del 50% de las acciones comerciales, y en junio de 1987 de toda la compañía. En 1998, la empresa pasó a llamarse «thenex GmbH». Hoy en día actúa como socio ejecutivo.
HENRY-JOHANN NIENTIMP
(1989)
Henry-Johann Nientimp, nacido en 1989, se unió a thenex en 2009.
Desde que completó sus estudios en 2015, ha sido responsable de las ventas y el marketing de la empresa, así como de TI.
Desde el 15 de febrero de 2017, se desempeña como Director General de thenex. Ahora lidera todos los negocios operativos de thenex con un fuerte enfoque en Ventas y Marketing, así como en Adquisiciones.
MARTEN-THEODOR NIENTIMP (1991)
1991, se unió a thenex en julio de 2015 después de trabajar como gerente de ventas en la industria local. Ha adquirido experiencia en el departamento de compras y ventas en thenex. Actualmente está a cargo de clientes especiales en el mercado asiático y europeo, así como de todos los negocios relacionados con la administración. Desde enero de 2018 se desempeña como Jefe de Administración y Director.

My name is Peter Schulte and I am the Senior Sales Manager & Director for Central & South America. I started as a trainee for wholesales and export at thenex GmbH in 1989, after graduating from high school. From day one, I enjoyed the team spirit at thenex GmbH and the family values it stands for. For me, the biggest satisfaction at work is being able to bridge the distances, cultures and time zones to solve problems and critical situations that our partners experience. Starting off from a small family enterprise with 4 employees, we have seen global crisis’ coming and going and learned from our experiences. With a full staff of approximately 40 employees nowadays, we are still managing to run a successful company without compromising our core values: reliability – customer orientation – efficiency.

Carmen López Medina, Senior Logistics Manager at thenex
I am Carmen López Medina and I work as a Senior Logistics Manager at thenex. By now, I have been part of thenex for 10 years and thus I could experience the growth of the team. Even after ten years, every order, every customer is always a new challenge. Therefore, it is my motivation to keep up with all the young people & continue to accompany the company in its expansion & development of new markets.

I am Evgenia Winterholler and I work as Finance Manager at thenex.
I have witnessed the growth of the company for almost ten years. The young generation of the Nientimp family has successfully taken over the management of the company.
I am very impressed how the management keeps generating new ideas to meet the challenges that the market brings. New customers are won, new markets developed and modern workplaces created. Every day there are new tasks that are solved efficiently.

Marie-Josephin Nientimp, Site Manager Warehouse & Logistics at thenex
I am Marie-Josephin Nientimp. I manage the warehouse and logistics site of thenex GmbH in Bocholt. Since I joined the family business in 2021, I also work in order processing.
My area of responsibility is particularly exciting because I have contact with all customers worldwide. The processing of an order often involves many challenges and no two days are the same. I particularly like that, because I like this variety a lot and still have a certain constancy in my everyday working life.
With the opening of our own warehouse location in August 2022, I can also expand my leadership skills, currently supervising a team of about 10 employees.
