Over 100 years of thenex
We can look back with pride on over 100 years of company history and family tradition. In 1900, the master blacksmith and fitter Theodor Nientimp, grandfather of the present-day owner and manager, formed a wholesale business with pipes and fittings. The company experienced continuous growth as a workshop for pumps and service partner for local industry as well as for the industries of the nearby Ruhr area.
During the second world war, Bocholt, and with it the Nientimp company, were completely destroyed in bombing raids. Heinz Nientimp, son of the founder, rebuilt the company and thus continued in the tradition of his father.
“thenex GmbH” was formed by the present owner in 1981. This brought together the export activities of the company Theodor Nientimp and equipped it with the latest trading and communication technology to meet the growing demands of international business.
The realisation of new business ideas as well as the reduction of purchasing costs for our clients, whilst retaining the quality of our products and services, is our permanent goal.
More than just certification…
In July 1998, thenex GmbH was certified under DIN EN ISO 9001 for the first time.
Numerous projects of the most varying nature have been carried out during the more than 100 years of our history and during more than 25 years of export activity.
Above all, however, we are proud of the many friendships that we have developed all over the world.
